Reading Community Development

The Reading Community Development is a non-profit organization devoted to the continued improvement of our small part of the world.

We need the public support and input to identify, connect and develop into a thriving community which nourish youth, engage citizens and foster partnerships.

Business, Education, Government and Human Services are all facets of the area we work with to formulate solutions. It has fostered numerous action teams that have continued to move the community forward. We will continue toward our future utilizing the existing organizations established in our area.

Community folks gathering information and talents to

enrich the whole community.

We are always looking for input from all corners of the community. Here are some current and pass events and projects:

Grants to support a NEW business incubator

Reading Community Development (RCD) will again be offering a limited number of scholarships this year to former Reading School Students!

Scholarship funds will be available for the fall 2025 semester. Applications are being sent to local high school counselors.

The deadline to apply is April 25, 2025. Be sure to follow the instructions and answer all the questions on the form.

The RCD committee will be meeting in late April to
