Reading UMC Church

The season of Christmas is a time to think about "doing the good that is ours to do."  Over time, good has come to the Reading community in various ways.  Reading United Methodist Church is currently involved in a disaster relief project.  Our goal is to provide twenty-five "cleaning kits" to assist disaster victims.  Specific items are packed into 5-gallon buckets and the kits will go to affected areas with trained disaster relief volunteers when needed .  We invite interested persons in the Reading community to assist Reading UMC with monetary donations for the project.  Contact Malonne Davies or Marion Jones if you have questions.

After the sirens have sounded, the only doors in the Community Building that will automatically unlock are the two doors on the north side of the building.  From there you can enter the tornado shelter.  The east doors and the south doors to the building do not unlock automatically.

The north doors will unlock only

AFTER the siren is sounded.

UMC:  Tara Senft unlocks the door next to the blessing box as quickly as she can.
